This hands-on Trauma Management Course is designed to give participants the practical skills and confidence to manage life-threatening injuries before advanced medical care arrives. The course focuses on real-world trauma scenarios and emphasizes simple, effective interventions that save lives in the critical minutes after injury.

Participants will learn and practice essential trauma care skills including:

  • Severe bleeding control and tourniquet application

  • Wound packing and pressure bandaging

  • Recognition and treatment of chest injuries

  • Initial management of abdominal and penetrating trauma

  • Orthopedic injury stabilization and splinting

  • Prioritizing care using a simple trauma assessment framework

This course is highly interactive and includes extensive hands-on training with realistic equipment and training materials to ensure participants leave confident in their ability to act during emergencies.

Booking Includes:

  • Training for up to 50 participants (larger groups may require special accommodations, email info@hillcountryfieldmedicine.com)

  • Volume discounts apply for larger groups, with reduced per-person pricing at each 10-participant tier:

    • 5–10 participants: $120 per person (MUST have a minimum of 5 participants SELECTED—classes WILL be taught to less than 5 participants, but minimum quantity is “5”/$600.00. If quanity of less than 5 is selected, price will be adjusted to $600 accordingly.)

    • 11–20 participants: $110 per person

    • 21–30 participants: $100 per person

    • 31–40 participants: $95 per person

    • 41–50 participants: $90 per person

  • All training materials and medical training equipment

  • Hands-on skill stations and scenario practice

  • Instruction from an experienced field provider

  • Optional bleeding control certificates if requested in advance

Training is scenario-driven and focused on simple, effective interventions that translate directly to field operations.

Participants will learn and practice essential trauma care skills including:

  • Advanced hemorrhage control and tourniquet application

  • Wound packing and pressure bandaging

  • Airway management fundamentals and patient positioning

  • Recognition and treatment of chest trauma

  • Initial management of abdominal and penetrating injuries

  • Orthopedic injury stabilization and splinting

  • Rapid trauma assessment using MARCH principles
